INTRODUCTION

PT. Indosun Motor Gemilang is a national private company

engaged in automotive trademarked SUZUKI motorcycle, which was established and started its activities in 1993 under the name PT. Indo Jakarta Motors, the location is at Jalan MT. Haryono Komp Bubakan Baru No 9a - 11, then it changed name in September 1998 to PT. Indo Gemilang Motor Jakarta, then in August 2003 changed its name again to PT. Indo Sunmotor Gemilang. This company was established as a Main Dealer for Suzuki motorcycles branded areas especially in Semarang Central Java. PT. Indo Sunmotor Gemilang is a direct subsidiary of PT. Suzuki Indomobil Sales, which are holding sales territory at Suzuki brand in Indonesia and now it has 22 branches spread across the area Plat H, G and K.

DISCUSSION

Suzuki Motor has some types of motorcycle type, such as Satria, Nex, Shooter, Titan, Thunder, Inazuma, Hayate, Skydrive and Axelo. All these types have their own advantages and sales levels also, as Satria with 40% of sales in the market, Nex 30% and 30% were other types. Suzuki achieved the highest sales in the months leading up to the feast of Eid al-Fitri due to the tradition of wanting to have new stuffs for the big day.
